Womens Basketball Looking too Finish Strong over Final Stretch

Currently sitting at 4-12 overall, with an MEC record of 3-7, the State women’s basketball team looks too finish strong over the final stretch of the season.

Jordan Miller is currently the top scorer for the Yellow Jackets, averaging 14.5 points per game, with Charity Spears setting the high mark for a single season point performance of 30 points.

Lyrin Hatcher is the top rebounder for State, pulling down 6.5 rebounds per game.

Alexandra Jackson dishes out the most assists per game for State, averaging 3.87.

State returns to the court on Wednesday January 23rd, when they’ll travel too UVA-Wise to take on the Cavaliers.
