Men’s Baseball Wins One of Four Weekend Games against Slippery Rock

The Yellow Jacket baseball team beat Slippery Rock 7-0 Saturday, Feb. 29, in the first of four weekend games at the Shawnee Sports Complex.

Although the Jackets couldn’t repeat that performance, they scored more runs in the four games than Slippery Rock. The Jackets, now 2-9, lost two one-run games to the visitors from Pennsylvania.

The Yellow Jackets are scheduled to play Thomas Jefferson University of Philadelphia on Friday, March 6, at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. State has two games slated there on Saturday against Saint Rose and Dominican. A single game is scheduled for Sunday against Mansfield.
