The Lady Yellow Jacket Softball Team looks to finish the regular season strong this weekend and maybe steal the MEC South Divisional Title away from first place W.Va. Wesleyan.
The Yellow Jackets have back to back home games against Fairmont State and Shepherd on Friday and Saturday to close out the regular season.
State has an overall record of 28-18, with an MEC record of 16-12.
The top batter for the Yellow Jackets is junior Brittany Allison with 50 hits in 146 appearances at the plate. The top pitcher is freshman Emily Moore with a record of 12-6, and an ERA of 2.19.
