Women’s Basketball — Team tops Wesleyan

The women bounced back from the Glenville loss to take a come-from-behind win from West Virginia Wesleyan Saturday, 75-69. Senior Aurreshae Hines had 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.

Bobcats scorch State with 59 percent shooting

When the opponents hit 6 of every 10 shots attempted, even a potent State Men’s offense will fall short, as happened Saturday when Wesleyan snapped State’s 7 game winning streak, 75-69. The Bobcats made a blistering 59 percent of their shots.  Pat Johnson-Agwu had 22 points with Ernest Jenkins adding 21.

The basketball teams next play at West Liberty on Thursday.
