As a proud HBCU, The Yellow Jacket understands the injustices that are going on in our world today. From the local, state, and federal level, the disparities in equality are apparent, and we want it to be known that we see it, and we stand with our black community.
We want the newspaper to be a place for students, staff, and faculty to be able to come to with any and all ideas, thoughts, and concerns. One of the roles of the media is to bring public awareness about injustices in our community, and we take that seriously at The Yellow Jacket.
While we want to be a place for all ideas, thoughts, and concerns, we also want to be a safe place for opinions. We will not tolerate any hateful speech or activities.
