State Softball competed over spring break compiling a record of 4-4. The Yellow Jackets are 4-4 in MEC play, with an overall record of 16-10 and are currently in 4th place in the MEC South Division.
- The Yellow Jackets dropped their first two games at home to Concord losing 0-1, 0-4.
- The Yellow Jackets next traded wins with UVA-Wise at home losing the first game 3-4, before winning the second 3-0.
- The Yellow Jackets next travelled to Wheeling, W.Va. to face West Liberty and Wheeling Jesuit. The Yellow Jackets swept West Liberty 3-0 and 4-3.
- Against Wheeling Jesuit the Yellow Jackets dropped the first game 0-2, before rolling the second game 6-0.
