The Yellow Jacket is looking for writers, editors, photographers, sports pros and social media experts. Students of all majors are welcome to join the YJ staff. Experience is not required but is a bonus. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience.
As a writer for the YJ you will cover sports, news, campus buzz, or arts and entertainment. There is also an option to write opinion pieces or blogs. Writers are expected to meet deadlines. Those interested in social media will assist the social media editor in marketing the YJ via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Photographers will attend sports games and campus events to capture shots to go with relating stories.
