Candidate for Miss State
Why did you become a candidate?
My school and my daughter and my family. I have a daughter that looks up to me and I want to be a great example to her and youth that possibilities are endless here at State. You just have to want it bad enough.
By attending State, I have been rightfully prepared for the title. State has never let me down, but has allowed me to open doors.I want to give back to the school and show others how State has molded me into a great student and a strong woman!
What do i want to accomplish with my title?
I want to help with bringing back interpersonal communications between students, faculty and staff. We need to support each other, whether we are non-traditional students, commuters, students living on campus, married, parents, full time employees.
I.m a single mother that lives off campus. I work and attend school full time so i understand the struggle. I want to show others that you can do anything here at State if you just open your heart and we reach out and support each other.
