Cengage, an education and technology company, partners with UNCF (United Negro College Fund) to provide 1,000 HBCU students with free access to more than 22,000 Cengage eBooks, online homework access codes, study guides and more. Students selected will receive a semester-long subscription to Cengage Unlimited, valued at $119.99.

Program eligibility is based on financial need, a minimum of a 2.5 GPA, an essay and a letter of recommendation. Each semester 500 subscriptions are awarded. The deadline to apply for the Fall 2019 semester is Thursday, Aug. 29. Applications for the Spring 2020 semester will open on Nov. 4.

Cengage Unlimited is the industry’s first all-access digital subscription for college textbooks and course materials. A subscription also includes free access to resources from Evernote, Kaplan, Quizlett, Cheg and Dashlane. A subscription to Cengage Unlimited will provide students with the correct resources to reach their full potential.

UNCF is the largest minority education organization and will select the recipients on behalf of Cengage.
