Men’s Basketball Lose to Eventual MEC Champion Notre Dame, 98-77.

Mountain East Player of the Year Will Voorhees led Notre Dame with a double-double as the eventual MEC Champions toppled State 98-77.

Voorhees scored 23 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the Falcons. Isiah Sanders scored 22 points, Larenz Thurman chipped in 17, Drew Scarberry added 16, and Bruce Hodges closed out the balanced Notre Dame offense with 15 points.

Ernest Jenkins Jr. led state with 19 points, while Isiah Noel scored 16 points and pulled down six rebounds.

State finishes the 2018-19 season with an overall record of 12-17, and 9-13 in the Mountain East.
